Anybody saying “just don’t tilt” has never played poker during network problems. Whenever it happens, I reduce stakes immediately or just disappear for 15 minutes. Once I notice my clicks are becoming angry instead of logical, I know there is a problem.

When I feel tilt creeping in, I try to slow down and focus on the next decision instead of the last hand. If I’m still frustrated, I leave the table before situation become worse.

The biggest thing for me is recognizing it early. If I notice I'm rushing decisions or trying to win back losses, I slow down or step away for a few minutes.
