How do you decide when to hedge a bet?

For while now, I've just been staring at my ticket. One game is left for my 9-leg parlay and cash out is showing small profit already. This is actually messing with my head. Last month I didn't hedge one Champions League ticket because I wanted the full money but one red card spoiled everything. Since then I avoid greed.
