How do you manage powerful emotions like greed and fear while gambling?

Badly sometimes, if I’m being real. Greed kicks in after a couple of small wins and suddenly I’m risking way more than planned. This is not peculiar to me, as it happens to so many people too. The only thing that helps is stepping away from the screen for a bit to save yourself.

I don't like to gamble much outside of poker, but I'm very discipline with my bankroll. Playing the same stakes daily helps with the emotions caused from bad beats or downswings.
