There are some poker games which goes on for too long and that tends to make everything boring in my opinion. Being bored while playing kills all the fun in the game which is why I don't like it in any way.

Have you ever been bored while playing because the game is taking too long? How do you work around that feeling of being bored in such situations?

Music helps keep boredom away when I'm playing online poker, and I usually have something playing in the background during my sessions. I also smoke weed while I play. Depending on the game and format, I actually find poker quite relaxing, although tournaments can definitely become stressful when the stakes get higher.

if you play as a routine task, if you play because you "have to play" instead of you "want to play" you will certainly feel boredom. You should play only when you want to play and should play for the love of the game, and not as a routine task.

I play for entertainment, to kill my boredom and relax myself. Therefore, I don't get bored while playing

Boredom has cost me more mistakes than bad luck. Once my mind starts wandering, I begin to make lazy decisions. I played worse whenever I was distracted by connection issues. These days I try focusing on opponents even when I'm not in a hand. Watching betting patterns keeps me engaged.

I play only when I want to so boredom does not affect me
