Have you played hearts, how different is it from poker? I like limited experience, and based on my limited experience, I can say hearts is all about avoiding mistakes and managing points carefully. As compared to hearts, poker is more aggressive and focused on maximizing value. Interestingly, both of these games can become very competitive with experienced players. Which game do you find more intense?

Poker is strategic with betting, bluffing, and probability. Hearts is a trick-taking card game focused on avoiding certain cards and passing strategy, making it lighter and more casual than poker.

From my experience in playing both of them, poker feels a bit more compelling for me which is why I'm more interested in playing it than Heart. I will admit playing Hearts is also fun but it doesn't match what I feel with playing poker.

Hearts can be very stressful quietly but poker is a full psychological warfare. In Hearts, if you make a mistake, you can still recover a little especially with a smart play. Poker is not like that especially when money is involved.

I haven’t played Hearts much, but poker feels more focused on probability, psychology, and reading people. Hearts seems more about avoiding points through careful card management, while poker adds betting strategy and risk decisions that change every hand.
