A demo account protects players from losing money when they are still novice in the game. A player with demo account will have unlimited access to money they can't lose for real which isn't the same when they switch to playing with real account.

How much did you start playing with on a real live account after switching from a demo account?

There is liberty for every player to start playing with the amount of money that they can afford. So it does not have to be all your savings, just what you can afford to part with in case anything goes south.

Micro-stakes games are an excellent way for beginner poker players to build experience. Starting with a bankroll of around $50, combined with a solid game plan and disciplined bankroll management, can set you up for long-term success at the tables.

How much money you should start with depends on how much money you can afford to lose. You cannot expect to win right after graduating from demo account. When you are playing for real, you must first expect to lose. Therefore, you should keep your money minimum. I tried with $20.

When I switch to real account from the demo money, I start small with $50 because once real money enters, things would change. That free demo confidence vanish instantly. One wrong move, you would begin to panic.
