If you're starting a poker site from scratch how much $ would you invest to make it successful?

Assuming you already developed or paid for a poker software to have a functional site.

Assuming you have a proper working poker software you must invest around $80K - $100K for marketing activities. Further, you have to make sure your onboarded players are properly served and supported. Do not use BOT players in any conditions.

From first hand experience I can tell you that how much you have to invest is the wrong question. The real question is do you actually know 50 people are willing to fully support you with their poker deposits on day 1 and play everyday. If you don't have a solid base you are unlikely to succeed no matter the investment. It's an over saturated market.

I wish anyone trying a startup the utmost success. It's lonely. Most players want something for nothing. Even when they get it they will vilify you publicly. I suggest offering nothing g for free ever. Deposit and rake incentives for sure but nothing for the freeroll chasers.

Sorry for the rant lol. It's a tough business that I've been failing at for 18 months.

I do love it though. The challenge, that is. I enjoy struggling through the journey. I'm excited to feel the sense of accomplishment if I ever get there.

If you have the dollars to back it up though. You can offer promotions without needing to know 50 depositing players.
