Typically, you should never show your cards, because other players can pick up information on how you play.
I also think showing your cards can have it's advantages. It can make players assume your a new player, because usually experienced players never share their cards.
I do it more than most players. I like adding salt too the wound when I pull off a big bluff, and I like having a target on my back. It makes it easier to get paid off when I have a really good hand.
Do you ever show your bluffs or hands after you won a pot that didn't reach showdown? How often do you show your hands?
