Burnout is so real for poker. I noticed it when I play too much, that is when my decisions start to get bad. One of the most important things is to take a break. It could be for few days or even a week.

Burnout is so real for poker. I noticed it when I play too much, that is when my decisions start to get bad. One of the most important things is to take a break. It could be for few days or even a week.

I wouldn’t say I make bad decisions when I feel burnt out. I’m pretty good at staying disciplined even when I lack motivation, but I’ll definitely be looking forward to taking a break when that happens. Sometimes I’m also more willing to get involved in coin-flip situations when I’m playing micros.
