I try to be strict as possible when it comes to my bankroll, but after a good score sometimes I move up a level or two, and play a bigger buy-in.
I will move back down if I don't score/cash. I also play smaller buy-ins when I want to relax.

Does anyone else play bigger buy-ins after a win or do you continue to play the same level/stakes?

I would keep myself conservative, don't want to go too wild and lose too much right away.

I’m starting to build my bankroll/bank management but it always fails when I wanna try and build a lovely stake and keeping it until the end

I don't go for bigger buy-ins whenever I win big. That's how greediness start for me, and before I know it I am already going above my limit. I usually stick to the same plan.

That sounds like you have a good well-thought-out strategy when it comes to management of the bankroll. It may be a good strategy to be able to move up to the next level or two whenever your scores are high in order to take advantage of the ladder effect but to remember that there must be a time to drop down the ladder again if results are not forthcoming.

I don't allow myself to scale up my buy-ins because I have won big. I always stay within my stakes. I am not yet a pro and don't have the confidence to go for bigger buy-ins. My motto when playing poker is always to keep it safe as much as possible.

As much as i try to be strict, i still fall short of my expectations! When am on winning streak, i find it difficult to hold back and greediness will set in. I will like to win even the casino itself. 🤣🤣🤣 Uncountable times, my bankroll management fall like pack of cards. I have to do better.
