Betting can be regarded as a combination of fortune and game. Fortune contributes so much in the short term outcome, but skill and expertise works for a long term outcome. Expert bettors spend time on stats, learn odds and manage their bankroll effectively. Still, skill can't determine the outcome completely, Nevertheless, luck still play a role in any made bet.

Betting is mixture of both luck and skill. Sports is highly unpredictable and anything can happen at any time. You can do all the analysis but still one game or more will go against all your analysis. There are some instances where i lose a bet at around 2 minutes for the football match to end. It is so painful upon all the effort i put in analyzing the parley bet

I would say that betting is 70% luck, and 30% skills. I base my experience on sports betting to draw that conclusion. You might do all the analysis, pick your game expertly and just one wrong decision in-game turns the odds for or against what you staked on.

I would consider betting to be all about luck and not a skill. If it is a skill, a lot of people who are deep into it must have understood better and that means that they won't end up losing just like the way that they are doing at the moment.
