Is it better to bet early in the week or right before kickoff?

I prefer betting close to kickoff now because lineup news matters more than all those early odds. I was talking about this today after one striker I backed got “rested” 20 minutes before the match start. Imagine building confidence all week only for the manager to rotate the squad because of one European match. Early betting can give better odds, but information is king. Especially now with all these surprise injuries and late suspensions.
