Is it better to play high-volatility or low-volatility games?

High volatility slots are like a warfare. You can spin for one full hour without seeing anything meaningful, then suddenly boom one huge payout could appear. The problem is that many people do not even have that kind of patience again. Personally, I prefer low volatility now. I can't watch my balance disappear into the thin air very quickly .
 
If you want excitement, high volatility can be good. If you want stability and longer sessions, low volatility is usually better. Which one is better depends on your goal and preference
 
This should depend on your risk tolerance level. If you have high risk tolerance level, you can play high volatility games. But if you have low tolerance level, you should stick to playing low volatility games.
