Bankroll management can be quite chaotic and demoralizing if you are not disciplined. I saw an advert on reddit where one dude is marketing an application that can help poker players manage their bank roll. I wonder how effective such app can be ?

App can help but it can't teach you discipline. Thats the truth. If you don't have any self control, even the smartest bankroll software will not stop you from breaking every rule. Tracking wins, losses and buy-ins automatically are useful, i wont lie, especially if you play often.
