There is table etiquette in poker but still, is it permissible to clear the table with the winners and head for the exit immediately after that? How do we conduct ourselves at a poker table and some other rules not written as part of the poker rules. How do you deal with big win and what is the correct way to leave the table?

I always stick around for at least 10 rounds of the table before leaving with any winnings. It's not only proper etiquette but it's just fair for you to give the players who lost to you a chance to win their chips back. The only time I don't do that is in the case that I stack one player and then they leave the table. In that case I might leave a little quicker.

this is poker wars , not be my buddy, cause i won , take the dough and leave , up
I agree with you. Poker is not a party, it is a game. If you been lucky and hit a huge jackpot then it is alright to collect your money and sit elsewhere. No need to feel like you havd to hang around and make some conversation afterwards.

Of course, I need to go get a drink or leave the table after a certain win. I don't see such behavior as impolite but any player who wins a round should extend thanks to the table, congratulate other people who are still in the game. That's fair enough.

That is very thoughtful of you. Carrying a lot of chips to a table and then running away from it immediately after a big win is not being rude. As you have pointed out being thankful can be highly effective in how we keep the table setting in a positive way.

Getting up from the table right after winning a crucial round is wrong. However, it is better to ask for a vreak right and you can even use words like thank you for the game. This is sufficient to honor the other players.

To some extent I also believe that the idea of spiking the table right after a great victory can be rather impolite. It's good to politely requesting for a break and we need to be thankful to other gamers. This is one of the most polite ways of leaving the game.

Nah, you won big and need to walk away. If anyone says otherwise, they just want to see you lose your big winnings.
It is actually wise, when you win big at the table, it is important to save your earning now and avoid getting to doing mistake due to the excitement because if you stay, it can lead to reckless decisions.

To me, there's nothing wrong in doing that. In fact, it takes great skill to know when to stop after winning big because your rush of emotions might cloud your judgement.

When you are playing for money, I do not think it would be rude to walk off after winning. But all those who are losing might think that is rude. :D

Players should leave the game after winning when they feel tired but it is always good to always remember to say thanks to players and the dealers around.
