The rigging debate lives on and it’s so common with online poker. Some say the algorithms employed in online poker are unfair, while others argue entirely that it's based on luck. What do you think? Have you seen anything suspicious?

Many people believe that online poker is rigged. But there are many reputable online poker sites that are audited and certified by third party organizations that ensure fair play. Using those poker sites is better.

If poker sites don't have regulatory bodies, i doubt i will trust them 100 percent. I still play online poker for fun not literally to win the pot.

I have heard a lot of people talk about online poker being rigged and I can't deny the fact that some of them are rigged but not all. That is why players must choose regulated sites.

I don't believe online poker is rigged at the big sites with the exception of ACR Poker. I don't trust the network, Phil Nagy, and my personal experience with them was a bad one, even though I have a winning track record on my account. The way they handled their affiliates, and take their referrals isn't okay with me. I always had suspicions about the RNG, but I cannot prove anything.

Does anyone remember Pitbull Poker? That site was notorious for being rigged and exposing whole cards to master accounts.

i dont believe the main poker sites are rigged, there isnt too much incentive as they are making 100s of thousands if not millions just in tourney fees every week or whatever, you wouldnt jeopardise that imo.... whereas some smaller sites/apps im not sure about but dont really play them tbh. unregulated sites/clubs would be a different ball game and i can see collusion being an issue at the least but i tread carefully and play like im being cheated anyway to save the mental gymnastics.

The most big sites aren't rigged, they're too regulated to risk it. But losing sucks, so it's easy to blame the site. The real issue is online moves way faster than live play, so bad beats happen more often, and that messes with your head .

I don’t think is rigged if the site is licensed. But the game is usually designed in a way that the house has an edge.
