Poker is not a pure gambling, although it has some elements of luck, skills, strategies and psychology also play a big role too. So, in this game, skilful players prevail in the long run. Choices on betting, folding and bluffing make the difference between pros and amateur players.

Do you think poker is 100% gambling?

Not really. While luck definitely plays a role, poker is more about skill and strategy. Good players use their knowledge to make smarter decisions, manage risks, and read opponents. So, it’s a mix of luck and skill.

Poker may not be considered 100 percent gambling, but the main problems is the fact that it contains some elements of gambling in a strict sense because you tend to depend a lot in luck, even though many people may claim that strategy plays a key role in poker.

Gambling means something that is purely luck based. Poker isn't purely a luck based game, if you play well, you are less likely to lose, or will be on winning side. Poker is somewhere between gambling and entertainment.
