How did you learn to play poker? Who taught you? Did you learn on your own?

My family did, they are big card players and kind of sat down and played with them while growing up at family events.

Learning poker is not easy and it's not a rocket science. I started with small home games and free YouTube videos because I wasn't ready to burn my money. People think you must buy one expensive course first. Meanwhile you can access free resources online..

I have never had the chance to learn how to play poker and to be honest am not even sure when i will be able to.

It was my uncle who taught the basic things I needed to know about how to play poker. It was after that I started watching tutorials to improve on what I've been taught.

Many years ago, I was hired to work on a casino forum, where I was supposed to join various casinos, including poker sites, and write reviews. Since I also had to write about poker sites, I had to learn it.
