I have seen so many cases lately of people completing work online without being able to be paid. Some people are just anxious to start working online. They don't ask about available payment methods before they jump on a platform or accept a gig.

It is important to always check or ask for payment method before embarking on any online earning venture.

It's very crucial to check the payment methods before starting to work on any online platforms. I make sure to ask the payment method accepted to see if I can use it. I have turned down a couple of online jobs because of payment gateways.

We humans always want to learn through experience. One beaten, twice shy! I have lost over $50 to paypal due to these kind of scenario. I try to outsmart PayPal and the money hacked there since! It is very sad and unfortunate. After ugly experience, i have learn how to respect myself and avoid getting involve with wrong payment gateways.

What you should have done at that instance would have been to look for someone that is in a country that accepts PayPal, use the PayPal account to get payment. And the per person pays you crypto. Of course, you would lose a bit of the payment through fees, but it is better than trying to outsmart the system and losing everything.

I have seen people finish work and are looking around for how they would get paid, simply because they failed to settle the issue of payment method before they accepted the job. That stress and pressure is not worth it after completing a job to be paid. There are many payments methods that one should explore with his clients and agree on before a job is accepted.

I wasn't able to withdraw the first money I made online. I worked hard to reach $30 payment threshold but when the time for withdrawal came, I couldn't because the payment method wasn't available to me. I had no option than to forget about it.

Before i join any platform, one thing i always make sure i find out is if i can actually withdraw my earnings, cause i have been in situations where i worked hard but could not withdraw at the end.

Is it not? It is only newbie freelancers that do not ask beforehand what the payment method will be. That is the next thing I ask the moment we have agreed on the pricing.

I always ask for payment method even before we start negotiations on the price. For me, I can't agree on a price and we don't even get to deal because we couldn't find a common ground for payment method.
