Poker Bot Farm - Online Poker Scam

[Bawse]

I just watched this video about players, mostly from Russia using a poker bot farm called The Brain.

Have you heard of this before? What do you think poker sites can do to crack down on bots?

[Nathan AKA Nate]

Yes a lot of Russians are very good at hacking gambling sites trust me it’s very well known Russians are hackers

And like if there’s one on your table and you knock him out I bet he will get really mad and try and get your arse kicked out of the tournament

[Bawse]

@Nathan AKA Nate if they're bots the account owner probably won't notice when they get KO'd.

The video says the bots have realistic chats responses too.

[Nathan AKA Nate]

Yeah I ain’t saw it but some can respond back to chat as well
When I get the chance I will watch it

The Brain bot farm is serious issue to deal with. The bots are playing together and sharing information, making it hard to beat. The sites need to use a better detection methods to catch them.

The only information shared with bots or HUDs is betting tendencies, such as stats like VPIP. Some sites even make these stats available to all players. I don’t think bots actually work together to team up against players. Bots in online poker are mostly found in cash games, while tournaments are more likely to have human players because bots generally don’t perform as well in tournaments.
