When a newbie at poker comes to you for tips on how he or she can easily win at playing poker, what are the recommendations you'd give the person?

My first tips would be for the newbie to learn hand rankings, rules, and positions because one cannot expect to play poker without understanding the rules. Without following the rules, you'll definitely lose. It's very important to put in time into studying hand rankings, the basic rules, and the meaning of positions.

What other tips will you recommend?

Well, One of the best tips for winning poker is to start with a low stake game and once you get more comfortable, you can increase to high stake games. Also, bankroll management is also very necessary. Setting limits and sticking to them are also very crucial.

Some of the poker winning tips I know are playing tight, proper bankroll management, starting with low stakes, and studying your opponents.
