An old experienced poker player warned me of slow rolling, that is one of the worst poker etiquette in poker especially when you are invited in poker home games! He added that it creates unnecessary tension in poker room. He explained how he was never invited in poker home game due to slow roll which his opponents consider very silly and insultive.
Do you think slow roll can get a poker player not to be invited in home games?

I don't think that there is anything that can get on the nerves of other poker players like intentional slow down rolling. It is the easiest way to win enemies in poker whether it is home games or poker room games. Most players feel disrespected being slow rolled in home games. I believe that such a player that slow rolls in home games would hardly get invites for the next home game.
