Do you prefer tournaments with small fields or large/massive player fields?

I prefer tournaments with more players, because it builds the prizepool, and it's a good challenge to take down/bink a big tournament.

I have mostly always played in smaller tournaments. It is faster to complete and possibly get your winnings. And it is most times amongst the cycle of players that you are familiar with. That gives a first hand advantage to understand your poker tournament opponents.

I prefer participating in small player field. It gives me time to concentrate on my move and that of the competitors.

The main drawback with massive player fields is that the variance is higher. But every other aspect of massive player fields poker tournaments, I love. From the tougher competition and the excitement of potentially running deep in a huge tournament is something that appeals to me. Making ye final tables here always boosts my confidence.

Smaller fields are easier to cash/win, but tournaments with bigger fields have higher payouts, and usually pay more spots.
