The "Hoodie" Look – Why does every poker player wear a hoodie?

I was watching highlights and I just noticed something funny. Why is that almost every serious poker player is always on hoodie? sometimes, they had a cap and dark sunglasses. It has almost become a uniform. Maybe it helps their concentration or maybe people just like to dress that way.

Maybe they are trying to loo mysterious or serious. But that isn't me, I don't put on hoodie or sunglasses while playing poker.

I think it's partly comfort and partly habit. Some players feel they help them stay focused or avoid giving away physical tells. Having said that, I don't think wearing a hoodie makes anyone a better poker player.

Hoodies are comfortable for long sessions, and some players feel that a cap or sunglasses helps them stay focused or hide physical tells. At the same time, it's become part of poker culture, so plenty of people wear the "poker uniform" simply because everyone else does.
