The Pan European Game Information Complaints Board acts as a special decision-making group that establishes game ratings for different video games. The Pan European Game Information Complaints Board has modified the recommended age classifications for Balatro and Luck Be A Landlord.

Video games received their initial rating from PEGI as PEGI 18 suggesting they were suitable only for 18-year-olds and older participants. The developers of the games requested another assessment from the Complaints Board. The Complaints Board evaluated the games a second time and assigned them a PEGI 12 rating for people 12 years or older.

Baltaro shares poker-like gameplay mechanics yet operates as a fantasy game since it never involves actual gambling activities. The Complaints Board revised its decision because these titles proved less mature than initially anticipated.
The games have become accessible to additional players since they receive rating approval for younger players.
