I would say that to any average person out there in the world who's not into any kind of gambling sees those who are as lazy and useless lots because they refuse to find an honest work to do for themselves. It's worst when such people depend on gambling full time as their means of making a living.

Do you think gambling is misunderstood by society?

Gambling is often misunderstood because people tend to see it in extremes.
On one side, it’s viewed only as entertainment with easy wins. On the other, it’s seen purely as addiction or loss. The reality is little different, it involves probability, risk management, psychology, and discipline, especially in skill-based forms like poker.

I do not think gambling is misunderstood, what ever people say or think about gambling is mostly true. For example, a lot of people believe gambling is addiction, which is very true, when you start as a fun, you never know when the fun part become addiction.
