Newbie What’s the fastest way to get better at poker?

It may not be the fastest way to improve at poker, but I’m confident players of all skill levels will get better by regularly playing in our home games.

We’ve got plenty of strong players who perform well outside these games, along with a welcoming and supportive group overall. Of course, studying helps too.

I think being results-oriented is a bad practice, it can hinder your progress by negatively affecting your mindset.

Every player makes mistakes, even the best ones. The key is to learn from them and work on fixing leaks or gaps in your game. One thing about poker is that you’re always learning and improving your skills.

The truth is if you are chasing the outcome every time, you will ignore small leaks that are draining you slowly. I have seen players who kept blaming luck till they checked their own decisions. Anybody that can't sit and review their hands would be running in circles.

Well, this old saying suits all areas including Poker. If you play more, you become better. However, if you are ion the learning phase it is better to avoid cash games and play free games. I believe playing at home with friends and family will be better suited to perfect your skills
