What's always on the table during your poker nights?

Give me suya, groundnuts, meat pie and cold drinks, I'm okay. Just keep oily food away from cards because one careless movement can stain everything.

For me, the best poker snacks are the ones that don't make a mess or leave greasy fingerprints on the cards and chips.

My go-to snacks are:

  • Pretzels
  • Mixed nuts
  • Popcorn
  • Beef jerky
  • Chips and salsa (kept away from the table!)
  • Cookies or brownies for something sweet
For drinks, I usually stick to water, soft drinks, and coffee. If it's a longer game, ordering pizza is almost a tradition.

The one thing I try to avoid is anything too messy, like cheesy chips or sticky foods. Nobody wants greasy cards or poker chips!

What are everyone else's essentials for a good home game?

Chips, nuts, pizza, and a few drinks are usually enough to keep everyone happy. I also try to avoid anything heavy such as chicken fried or lamb chops

finger foods are the way to go. Pretzels, popcorn, crackers, and a few dips are easy to eat without making a mess. Add some cold drinks, and everyone can stay focused on the game instead of the food.

Roasted peanuts, cashews, French Fries, chips, cookies are some of my favorite snacks in home games. I also like to pair these snacks with soda or sherbets.
