From my perspective and observation, I think weight cut is a serious problem in MMA because of how it affects fighters. Normally, it's a way fighters who can easily cut weight cheat to have a better advantage over their opponents after they made weight.

Looking at the health and risk factor of cutting weight, if it's not done right, someone might lose their life as a result of complications of the weight cut.

Do you think weight cut should be permanently banned in MMA?

The weight cutting is a thing of concern to be honest. Watching some fighters during weigh-ins is even scary. Their faces are dry and their body is weak. The current system needs serious adjustment. people shouldn't nearly collapse just because of weight advantage.

For me, I think fighters should fight in the actual weight size. These weight cut is killing fighters slowey, it's not good for their general health. There was a fighter who slumped when he was doing weigh in for UFC and Khamzat Chimaev nearly died from weight cut before fighting Sean Strickland.
