Eating and drinking is a part of poker games. While good food can make a poker night memorable, but greasy snacks and drinks near the chips can create a mess.

Do you serve food and drinks at your home games? What snacks or meals have become favorites at your home games?

Food is very important to be honest but you need to keep drinks far from the cards. That's common sense. I have seen players pour drinks on the cards. Small chops are ok because people can eat it without making too much of a mess.

I usually go with foods like pretzels, popcorn, crackers, chips, and a few dips, along with bottled water and soft drinks. They're easy to grab between hands, and no one has to worry about greasy fingers touching the cards or chips.

I usually keep it casual with pizza, burgers, chips, and some easy snacks. For drinks, I prefer having a mix of water, soft drinks, and whatever people enjoy. The best choices are things that don't distract from the game or make a mess.
