Anyone can make the mistake of totally losing their bankroll. It's lesson but the question is how to respond after that experience.

Personally, I would treat it as a fresh start instead of trying to win everything back quickly because that's how most people lose everything in the first place. I'm going to focus more on low-stakes games and rebuild slowly with solid decisions than risk making the same mistakes again.

If you lost your entire bankroll, what would you do differently?

Once the bankroll has all gone, forget about revenge. Thats where many people bury themselves completely. For me, I would restart from the smallest stakes again even if it bruises my ego.

If I ever lose my bank roll then it’s time to take a break.
Take a serious look at yourself soul-searching we used to call it…lol
When I think about it, it’s a horrible issue it can turn into a cycle quickly and before you know it, you find yourself deep in debt.…. People take time it’s a pattern that you’re following most of the time break the pattern and stop the cycle.

Anyone going broke probably has a game selection issue. Even bad players can stretch a small bankroll pretty far if they're in the correct games.

I think the best approach is to start small and be patient. Drop down to stakes you can comfortably afford, stick to solid bankroll management, and focus on making good decisions rather than trying to recover everything quickly. Chasing losses usually only makes things worse.

I'd say, make sure you love the game type. This game will make you feel sick sometimes, so you best love it to death!

Secondly improve your approach. Seek out all different pieces of good advice. This includes mental game improvements as well. Remember, we all start as theory fish, and as mental game fish.

If you can, get a coach, and work on your game as often as you can 👊🏻
