What makes a better basketball player?

Becoming a successful basketball player comes with its peculiar challenges. What do you think are the qualities that basketball players should have? I am talking about those skills and maybe physical attributes that make one a successful player?

Basketball success is not just about the height or the speed. I tried playing at the local court last weekend, but I failed. Discipline, ball handling and clutch mentality are the things that separate good players from great players. I don't believe that raw talent alone wins championships consistently.

You could be big like Wembanyama that helps, but I think with the skill level in the NBA today. Even big men need to be decent shooters.

It doesn't matter if you're tall like an iroko tree, if you lack the technical skills to play the sports, you're going to be a failure. It's not all about height even though it helps but without skills, it's just a useless advantage.
