I play online for two things, one, anonymity, and two, play whenever I want. When I play online no one knows I am playing, this comes as an added advantage because gambling isn't very much appreciated in the society I live. Having ability to play whenever I want makes online poker fun.

I think you'd enjoy anonymous tables. I remember a while back, when I was still able to play on Bodog before Ontario got locked out, they had anonymous tables. I personally prefer playing with screen names because it's easier to develop strong reads when you regularly play against the same players.

What keeps you playing online poker, the competition, money, learning, social aspect, or something else?
There used to be one special place that was always fun to play. It was like family we gathered for breakfast , lunch and dinner then it closed since then I’ve chosen smaller groups that play together regularly daily in fact so we interact daily on the Poker table but after the game is over. Everyone goes their separate ways kinda like the senior center lunch event it depending on what’s on the menu…..lmao

The competition and the money is what makes online poker fun for me. The joy of outsmarting opponents and winning their chips is huge.

Whenever I have played online poker, I have always found that the thrill of playing and winning, as well as learning about poker as I play, and also the social interaction, is always great.

I tend to prefer social interaction online more than offline, as I do suffer from social anxiety, so it is nice to be able to interact with others online when playing poker, and it makes it a little more fun.

Beyond the excitement of potentially winning money—the thrill of victory itself, the strategy one must employ to win, and observing the strategy an opponent is using—there’s a real rush and a bit of an adrenaline kick that comes with playing. It’s incredibly exciting; I’ve always enjoyed card and strategy games—like traditional TCGs (Trading Card Games)—and even though this isn’t technically a TCG, I tend to view it in much the same way, which makes playing poker a lot of fun.
