Many gamblers repeatedly choose familiar bet sizes or patterns even when the situation calls for adjustment. Is this about risk control, lack of confidence, or just routine? Have you noticed yourself defaulting to certain bet sizes regardless of table dynamics?

Some players make comfort bets because they feel safer than making the mathematically correct decision. In poker, folding, raising, or making a large bet can feel uncomfortable, so players default to familiar actions. If you continue to do it habit and emotion will outweigh logic.

People love “safe” bet sizes because they don't want to feel stupid after losing big. That's a comfort zone in gambling.
