I think the biggest difference is consistency. Break-even players often know a lot about poker, but winning players tend to make fewer costly mistakes and stay disciplined even when things aren't going their way. They focus on long-term decisions rather than getting caught up in short-term results.
 
winning players are usually better at avoiding mistakes than chasing brilliance. They don't need to make amazing plays all the time. They consistently make good decisions, manage their bankroll, and stay focused over the long run.

It's discipline, not talent nor luck. I know it sounds unreal but that's the truth. I've seen people make brilliant decisions one day and then throw everything away because they got emotional. That is where been disciplined makes you standout
