I've been thinking about this because that first experience still hurts me. Nobody told me how fast money can just disappear into the thin air. I took the money I was supposed to use to buy small groceries, thinking I would be able to double it. That was a grave mistake.

Before i would even think about trying a poker game, i would first study everything about poker or casino, all the rules and regulations, this would help me have a clear understanding of it before i actually play it.

I wish I knew the house always has the upper hand, even when you’re winning. It’s easy to chase losses and lose track of spending. Setting limits is important. Also, most games aren’t skill-based, so you should treat t like entertainment, not income.

I wish I knew the game are designed to favor the house. I thought I could win by playing strategically, but that wasn't the case.
