What's your opinion on what an appropriate bankroll should be? I have heard some poker players say it's supposed to be at least 30 buyins while some other players say it's supposed to be between 50 buyins to 100 buyins.

Which one would you consider to be the appropriate bankroll for someone who's playing for hobby in low stakes?

For tournaments variance can be brutal, so 100+ buy-ins to feel financial stable.

I don't play cash games, so I won't comment on bankroll management for cash.

I don't think your bankroll should be more than you can afford to lose. And like @Baswe I don't play for money.

200 buyins for optimal play. I know people say itsxtoo much and for many it's unrealistic but it is optimal.
