The best approach is usually to focus on what I can control and let go of what I can't. When I feel stressed or anxious, taking a walk, getting enough sleep, getting a warm bath usually help.
 
When it comes to dealing with stress and anxiety, I don't think there is a best way for this. Each and everyone has their ways of dealing with this, you just have to stick with what works for you.
