Emotional control is the hardest. Strategy can be studied and you can also learn bankroll management, but controlling yourself after things go wrong? That's another matter entirely.

The hardest part is staying disciplined over the long run. It's not difficult to play well for a few hands, but continuing to make good decisions through bad beats, losing streaks, and long sessions is what I find most challenging.

I also believe emotional control is the hardest part of playing poker. If you start losing, you are tempted to increase your stakes to recover your losses, and even if you are winning, you are tempted to increase your stakes in a hope to win more. You can hardly contain your emotions.

For me, the hardest part is accepting that you can play a hand correctly and still lose. Staying confident, avoiding frustration, and continuing to make good decisions despite short-term results is what really tests a poker player.
