There was a time I tried snail pepper soup at an event in Benue. When I saw it, I was shocked at first, but after tasting it? It was so so delicious 😂. I also remembered when someone gave me a roasted grasscutter, I didn’t even know what it was until later. It actually tasted good, I won't lie.

It was eating fried insects at first. I tried fried crickets once and it wasn’t as bad as I expected, kind of crunchy and salty. I won't try it again, I was just curious to know how it tasted.

I haven't tried anything unusual yet as far as I can remember. I tend to stick with familiar foods and haven't really ventured into exotic or weird territory.

I have tried so many strange food in my life, but one of them that stands out from the crowd is balut, it's a developing duck embryo that is boiled and served inside the shell. I had never wanted to do it, but I just want to taste it even once..

That sounds like an interesting combo, I can't say I'd ever try it, but it's possible.

I'm pretty picky with my food, so I don't often try odd things to eat.

I would say that for me, the most unusual food I tried and liked was sushi. I was always dubious about trying sushi, as I know it is mainly raw fish, but it was my mum who bought me some around 10 years ago now and told me to try it, and I enjoyed it.

Now I eat sushi as much as I can.

Personally, I don't like mushroom soup. So, that's going to be one of the most unusual food I've eaten in a long time.

Also, I can remember the first and last time I ate snake meat without knowing what I was gobbling in. I almost died of anxiety that day.

I remember I used to hate sushi growing up, but now i like it, lol.

To me octopus was unusual about 15 years ago as I never had eaten it or heard of it, but I guess it is really not that unique, nor is snail, which is oddly good.
