How serious are you about bankroll management in cash games?

Like do you keep a separate poker bankroll or just play from your regular money? And how many buy-ins do you actually keep set aside before moving up in stakes? Is there a specific number that feels safe to you or does it depend on how confident you are in your skills?

For me, it's avoid cash games, and stick to tournaments. I think my bad habits will creep back if I start playing cash games, and I will get tilted after a downswing, or even a few hands that are little frustrating.

I can regroup/refocus better in tournaments. It doesn't sting as much losing a buy-in or two with good bankroll management.

Bankroll management is non-negotiable for me. I always keep at least 30 to 50 buy-ins for a stake and move down when needed. I do not usually chase losses.

Cash games require discipline more than you think. Once my money drops too low, I stop playing. It's as simple as that. I don't chase loses .
