Personally, I try to focus on making smart decisions rather than chasing quick wins because chasing quick wins will always make you lose more and chasing a loss is going make you lose far more since you're no longer playing with clear head.

I always like staying disciplined, patient and learning from every session has become my personal approach to poker.

What principles do you always follow at the poker table?
 
My own philosophy is that no hand is worth destroying your bankroll over. I can fold good cards if the situation does not smell right because I wont allow pride to take the better part of me. Sometimes the hardest move is folding, not raising.
