I have seen some players leave their marks even though they were around for a short while. Remembered athletes like Adrian Peterson and Rob Gronkowski, who did well in their sports as if there were no tomorrow and as if they've been there for a long time. . Who do you think had a prime that was too short but legendary?

Mario Lemieux. I think he was better than "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky when it comes to hockey.

Ruud Van Basten is a world classic footballer and regarded as one of the best ever played football. He is one of the greatest goal scoring footballer ever. But his career was terminated by ankle injury.

I remembered Garrett Edward, he was a rugby legend but he had an incredibly short but legendary time because of his injuries.

Abou Diaby comes to mind. The player was a defensive midfielder that possessed every skillset there was. He could read games, had excellent technical ability, had good physical ability, could pass and shoot excellently. He greatly improved the Arsenal team he played in but consistent injury problems hampered him.
