The art of cheating in playing poker is as old as the game of poker itself. There have been so many known names who are involved in so many cheats that cost players millions of dollars.

Players such as Cedric Rossi and Jean-Paul Pasqualini, Christian Lusardi, Russ Hamilton, Darren Woods and Billy the Egyptian are the notable cheaters I know.

Who else is among the biggest cheater in poker game?

Howard Lederer, and Chris Ferguson. They disappeared years ago when Black Friday happened.

Howard Lederer is the old owner of Full Tilt Poker, and Chris Ferguson was one of his sponsored pro's. Long story short, the site got shut down, and they ran away with all the players money. Millions of dollars.

Cheating can not be justified! There is no justification for stealing other people's money and disappear. They suppose to rotting away in prisons.

I cannot agree more that cheating is unacceptable and should have dire consequences. Players have been sacrificed through high-profile cheating cases like that if Mike Postle and Daniel Negreanu.

I agree, cheating in anyway online should be totally unacceptable. I think it is a shame for players even trying to multi account and cheat in a dam freeroll, or chip dump their friends and I have seen both, and its pretty sad and disgusting. I cannot name any high profile players tho.

Cheating isn't justified though. Either you play right or don't play at all. Cheating ruins the intergity of the game. it sucks, but they should all be banned.

Billy the Kid is probably the most famous at swindling poker hands. Online play where people cheat I bet happens a lot. In person events is unlikely to have a cheater but these online games are sometimes very shady.
