I know US poker players can only play real money poker games of online poker sites which are only in the sites that are legal in their states. What I can't understand is the reason why they can't play on EU poker sites.

What could be the reason why US players are not allowed to use EU poker sites?

There’s a way but you will get a permanent ban

You can use VPN but it’s not good for playing them on online poker you can get yourself a bad name if that happens

Plus the site will know where your really from by your bank details you give to them

Government cracked down, and most sites don't accept USA players because of regulations. That's why I play crypto sites, because you can play with players from anywhere.

USA players cant play on EU sites because it would make the USA mad at the EU.

If the USA wanted players to play poker they would want them to play in America and be taxed by the government.

@ItsOkToEatFish Sheldon Adelson is also a big reason why online poker isn't fully legalized in the states. He doesn't want players going online, instead of his Casinos.

Sheldon has been dead for a while. His family is much more open to online gaming and they are currently trying to expand gaming in Texas including things like online sports betting. I boycotted my favorite Las Vegas Casino, the Venetian because of his stance on online gaming.

The Vegas Casinos are all pretty well set up for online gaming if there was a federal solution.

The Indians in WA state are against online gaming along with, the Riverboat operators in LA, and the horseracing operators in KY.

I'm sure trying to follow the rules of the EU, the persons state and dealing with exchange rates is too much of a hassle for the site to try and deal with it all.
