A friend told me to stop limping into pots and I don't seem to understand. if something is bad, explain why it's bad instead of using poker slang. I prefer people that actually teach instead of making newcomers feel confused. One thing I've noticed is that everybody suddenly becomes a professor in poker especially if they have gained some experience. What does this mean?

Limping isn't always wrong, but doing it too often can create problems. It gives other players a cheap chance to see the flop, leaves you without the betting lead, and often puts you in difficult situations after the flop.
