It's not easy to succeed as a player. To win a poker game, one has to be gifted, smart and have a strong a spirit. To rise to the top:

-Master fundamentals
- Manage risk
- Stay calm under pressure.
– Be a lifelong learner
- Set achievable goals.

To succeed, you have to aim for growth rather than striving to be perfect.

It feels like that everytime I bust near the bubble. 😂

On a serious note, I've been succeeding at being a winning player, and making daily progress towards my poker goals.

Nope. Well, not right now.

I want to focus on my retirement fund before I switch to adding gambling to the mix in order to make extra cash. I'd like to make $5000/mo in dividends, which I would then use a portion of each month to play. If I'm down by the year's end, I'll take it back and just play for fun again.

Naah, I'm not looking at making it big in life from playing poker. It's like depending on gambling to be your main source of income. It's most likely going to break you sooner or later.

Poker is a form of gambling, but if managed properly it can be a main source of income. It's not my main source of income, but I do earn extra money/income from playing poker.

yeah! It might not be possible to make huge money in poker unless you're skilled, disciplined, and have a deep understanding of the game, it's quite challenging to succeed in poker.

True. There are many people whom have been so successful with playing poker. This can't be argued but sadly, they are only few compared to many playing poker.

One of my goals for poker community is to help those players that struggle to succeed at poker, and help them win more.

That's a good goal as it's nice to assist weak poker players. Majority of the players require instructions on how to enhance their performance. With support, they should be able to learn new ways of playing.

Yes, that is correct. If managed properly, it can be a good source of income for some people. However, if they continue to lose, it may be time to take a break for a while.

Skill, discipline, and mental toughness are needed for succeeding in poker. Very importantly, learning from past mistakes, and improving one's strategies as the game changes are all musts. With perseverance, patience, and the right strategies one can surely improve one's prospects in poker.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be really good at poker. I enjoy playing, but I have a hard time with strategy and figuring out other players. It seems like you need special skills to be great, and I’m not sure I have those.
