I'd be cautious, if I'm honest. The poker site has to have a registration and be protected by some kind of deposit scheme, for starters, before I'd even consider depositing. A good signup offer would go a long way towards making it more likely that I'd give it a try, too.

I'd definitely keep an eye on it for a while (6 to 12 months... Maybe longer) before making any sort of deposit.

To tell the truth, tm I am reluctant to registering in a new poker site. Before I am able to deposit any cash I’d love to see some positive remarks from other players.

Just as long as it doesn't look sketchy, I'll join up and give it a try.

I would normally be suspicious of a new poker site. I look at the licensing, security measures and reasonable welcome bonuses before making my decisions. Reviews about the sites and their reputation will also matter a lot.

Do you join poker sites that just launched? Are you willing to deposit on a new site?

How can a new poker site gain your trust?
I will play if they have free stuffs without deposits. Am still learning and new poker sites may fit in properly for my learning purposes 🤣🤣🤣

If I find out that the poker site is registered with a reputable gaming authority platform, I would surely play there. One thing the poker site can do to actually gain my trust and catalyze me to deposit there is if it displays it's registration certificate with it's licensing number on their platform.

Probably not right away. I'd wait a few months to see if real players actually get paid and if the software holds up. New sites are risky, some shut down fast or have technical nightmares. Let other people test the waters first. Unless there's a crazy good deal and I'm okay losing that deposit. Then maybe.

For me, it really comes down to who’s running the poker room and what software they’re using. I usually steer clear of Poker Mavens sites, but if I have friends who vouch for one, I might give it a shot. There’s no harm in signing up, but I wouldn’t deposit anything right away. I’d wait a few months to make sure it’s legitimate first.

Generally speaking, I only play on sites that I have been playing for a while. I don’t join a new site unless it is referred to me by someone I trust.
