I've fallen asleep while playing online poker before. I think you need to be well rested in order to have ultimate focus.

Rest is truly important, but I'm surprised you slept off while playing poker. You must have been very tired. I'm not sure it is something that can happen to me though. I can't afford to fall asleep when funds are at stake.

Rest is very much important, without any rest and going into a poker game feeling tired and not fully focused could lead to a huge loss if you are not careful. I would advise anyone playing poker ensures they get plenty of rest so they are at their best.

Sleep or rest before a game is 100% good for yourself

I think I was up for 2-3 days, and it's happened to me more than once lol. Usually I play freerolls when I'm tired, but I've also had it happen in buy-ins.

I've cashed in a tourney after I passed out, and returned seeing that I made money.

That's a great point! In any casino, rest is important. It makes you concentrate more and also helps in decision-making at the table. Fatigue will definitely have a negative impact on your decisions, which can cause poor profitability.

Having great rest is probably applicable to more than just a hand of poker.

I think you are are more lucky than luck. I think this is the latest passive income I should give a try. Lol.

Poker is not a game that you enter with any kind of fatigue. You have to constantly analyze situations and make sound decisions. That's the very reason you need to rest and declutter your mind before stepping into a game of poker.

It is also important to have a break before playing poker since fatigue may directly affect your decision making ability. Poker needs attention, planning and thinking.

Super important. When I'm tired, I make terrible decisions and miss obvious tells. I can't focus on betting patterns or calculate odds properly. I've blown through money so many times playing when exhausted. Now I make sure to get good sleep before any serious session.
