Silence is often misunderstood as a sign of weakness but I believe silence is a great power. If you can remain silent even when you are mercilessly criticized, it indicates that you have self control.

Can burnout ruin a good player?

I think burnout can absolutely ruin a good player if it’s ignored. When it happens to me, I lose my focus, I also lose my patience, and I end up making small mistakes and that start piling up. Burn out can hurt both results and confidence, even when your underlying skills are still good.

Do you end your sessions when you feel tilt starting to set in?

Frankly speaking, I try to end my session, but sometimes my emotions play bigger role and I’m not perfect about whether I should stop or continue. Sometimes taking a quick break first to reset can help and if that doesn’t help, I try to end the session early.

How do you stay emotionally neutral after a brutal bad beat?

I try to remind myself that variance is part of the game and one hand doesn’t define my overall results. Usually, I take a break, sometimes for days, d even weeks. After a bad beat, I always avoid jumping straight into the next hand.

How Do You Avoid Overthinking Tough Spots?

Generally speaking, I usually try to rely on a simple decision instead of trying to reinvent the wheel mid-hand. I think through position, ranges, and pot odds , then trust my first analysis. When I am tanking too long, it usually means I’m drifting away from fundamentals.
